May It Not Be So, 2025
Hand-woven tapestry on scaffolding. Worsted wool, cotton, iridescent foil, and steel, 206 x 235 x 95 (tapestry 162 x 213 cm).

An iridescent curtain decorating my daughter’s birthday party is repurposed as yarn. Here, it weaves a pattern of teardrops hiding an anti-war spell in binary code. The work meditates on the unrepresentable horror of war, in a time where the impact of new technologies is both precisely calculated and highly unpredictable.
