Missing Stone Relocation, 2011

Video documentation of an action. Single-channel video, stereo, 26’ 48’’

Originary part of an old Venetian building, the stone was repurposed as an improvised fat plants pot by the local residents. In 2008, I removed the stone and engraved the word «missing» on it. Transported to Rome for an exhibition, the sculpture was then kept in storage for three years. In Missing Stone Relocation, the sculpture is relocated, put back into the world as if almost nothing happened.
