We Don’t Need Another, 2022

Hand-woven tapestry. Worsted wool and cotton, 220 x 150 cm.

A reinterpretation of the artistic theme of the battle scene, an artistic theme recurrent in the history of tapestry art. The work employs both figurative and abstract languages to deal with the urge to make a statement about the current situation as well as the impossibility to represent the irrepresentable, in this case the horror of war.
